For those who have been looking for how to configure their china/Chinese phones for browsing on the MTN Network, here is a list of procedures for manual configuration of that phone.
Follow it strictly and ensure that there are no mistakes;
1 Go to services
2 Then to data account
3 Then to Gprs
4 Select an account and edit it.
Name: MTN GPRS.
Apn: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
usernane: web
pasword: web
auth type: normal.
THEN SAVE.
Next go back to wap under services
- Go to settings -> > edit profile.
Also chose any profile there and edit
- Rename profile: mtn wap
- Homepage: http://wap.mtnonline.com
- data acount(gprs-mtn gprs
- conection type: wap
-ip addres: 010.199.212.002
- security: off
- username: web
- pasword: web
Press done when you are finished.
